**Maintenance Supervisor – Reliability Focus

Position Overview**

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in Reliability Engineering to lead maintenance operations while driving equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. This role blends leadership responsibilities with a heavy emphasis on reliability strategy, data analysis, and mechanical integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of reliability experience, demonstrated leadership capability, and the technical depth to step in hands-on when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.

• Drive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

• Conduct data analysis and trend studies to improve equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.

• Oversee mechanical integrity programs to ensure safe and compliant operations.

• Develop, optimize, and enforce Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.

• Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.

• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades from a reliability standpoint.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed, including PLC-based systems.

• Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or related technical field preferred).

• 5+ years of Reliability Engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

• Strong experience with:

  • Reliability data analysis and performance metrics

  • Mechanical integrity programs

  • Preventive & predictive maintenance strategies

  • Root cause analysis methodologies

• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.

• Willingness to be hands-on when needed.

• Aluminum manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
