Warehouse Associates & Forklift Operators

Location: Ames, IA

Pay: $18.50–$19.00 per hour paid weekly

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

These roles are essential to maintaining efficient operations during non-peak hours, ensuring inventory is properly handled, orders are accurately fulfilled, and the warehouse remains organized and safe. Whether you have experience operating forklifts, working in shipping and receiving, or performing general warehouse duties, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities

Warehouse Associate

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
• Load outbound shipments

Forklift Operator

• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts
• Load and unload trailers
• Replenish inventory and transport product

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be dependable and punctual. Good attendance is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check (employer cannot hire candidates with a felony in the last 7 years)
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for associate roles
• Forklift experience is required for forklift openings
• Shipping & Receiving experience is required for clerk openings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Working Conditions

This position involves working in a warehouse environment with regular standing, walking, and heavy lifting. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, and moderate noise levels. Safety procedures and company policies must be followed at all times.
