Precision CNC Production Machinist (Levels I–II)

A day in the life

You clock in, review prints, and load the first job. You set tools, verify offsets, and run parts to exacting tolerances. Between cycles, you inspect and deburr, update visual controls, and prep tooling for what’s next so the line never misses a beat. When something looks off, you diagnose the abnormality, apply 5 Whys, and help shape a countermeasure. Safety is second nature—yours and everyone else’s.

What you’ll do

  • Set up CNC equipment, run production, and perform preventive maintenance using Standard Work.
  • Inspect, deburr, and complete manual operations; operate auxiliary equipment as needed.
  • Select and preset tooling for upcoming jobs to minimize changeover time (SMED mindset).
  • Update and maintain visual controls; create and/or support countermeasures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, including SMED, Kaizen, and 5 Whys problem solving.
  • Identify, resolve, and/or escalate equipment abnormalities promptly.
  • Model safe work practices and uphold a clean, organized work area.

What you bring

  • Minimum 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read blueprints and consistently hold tight tolerances.
  • Reliability, problem-solving ability, and a lean, team-first mindset.

Schedule and pay

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am
  • Pay range is $23.89-31.24 per hour plus $1.35/hr. Shift Differential for 2nd shift
  • Sign On Bonus: $2,000.00 (Payment details at time of offer)
