10-4 Logistics USA is seeking full-time W-2 Class A CDL drivers based in Alexandria, Louisiana to haul flatbed freight across the continental United States. Positions are best suited for experienced flatbed drivers who prefer regional over-the-road (OTR) schedules with consistent weekly home time. Typical duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractor‑trailer in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Perform load securement and freight protection for flatbed shipments, including tarping and use of straps, chains, and binders (approximately 40–50% of loads require tarping).
- Haul primarily regional OTR freight (typical runs up to 2,000–2,500 miles covering multiple states).
- Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on‑time performance.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 1 year OTR driving experience and at least 6 months flatbed experience.
- Experience hauling steel and steel pipes is required.
- Demonstrated skill in using straps, tarps, chains, and binders for securement.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to meet standard DOT and company screening requirements.
