Job Title: CDL Class A Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to transport finished goods and raw materials to retail and distribution customers. The ideal candidate will have strong driving experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to following all safety and DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods to designated customer locations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and complete inspection reports
- Ensure all loads are properly secured before transport
- Assist with positioning and preparing loads for unloading at each stop
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading areas, including backing into docks
- Follow all DOT regulations and company policies at all times
- Communicate with supervisors regarding delays, issues, or concerns
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers and team members
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A driver’s license
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record with no recent violations
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic tractors
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
