Responsibilities
Lead virtual reading lessons via Zoom with groups of up to 4 students, in sessions lasting 30–40 minutes.
Be available during school-day and after-school blocks (most classes occur Monday–Friday between 6 am and 5 pm PST).
Teach with the curriculum and clear lesson guidance we provide.
Share consistent progress updates about students.
Foster a welcoming, encouraging environment that supports student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Comfortable using Zoom and digital teaching tools.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred (Not Required)
These are bonus qualifications, but not prerequisites. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet them all.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Degree in education, English, literacy, or related fields.
- Prior experience teaching phonics or early reading (especially K–3).
