CNC Turret Punch Setup Specialist

Shape precision from the first setup

Based in Indianapolis, IN, you’ll be the go-to expert who gets our CNC turret press ready to run right—every time. Your day starts at the machine, blueprint in hand, planning the tooling, dialing in the setup, and confirming the first part meets spec. From there, you’ll keep production humming, adjusting as needed, solving problems before they ripple, and documenting your work so the next run is even smoother.

What you’ll handle

  • Prepare, set up, and calibrate CNC turret press equipment for scheduled production.
  • Translate blueprints, drawings, and specs into correct tooling and machine parameters.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to sustain peak performance.
  • Oversee production quality, making on-the-fly adjustments to hold tolerance and finish standards.
  • Partner with teammates to streamline setups, improve cycle times, and boost throughput.
  • Record setup details, production data, and maintenance actions with accuracy.
  • Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workstation.

What makes you a match

  • High school diploma or equivalent; machining or related technical training preferred.
  • Hands-on experience running or setting up CNC turret press equipment (or closely related CNC machinery).
  • Solid grasp of CNC machining fundamentals, tooling selection, and machine operation.
  • Confidence reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Keen problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well across shifts and teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and standards.

Why this role matters
