Role Snapshot

Support a high-velocity manufacturing environment by maximizing uptime, ensuring safe operations, and elevating equipment reliability.

What You Will Tackle

  • Preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and precise adjustments
  • Troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
  • Rapid response to breakdowns and emergencies
  • Accurate documentation of work orders and equipment history
  • Assistance with installations, modifications, testing, and startup/commissioning
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality
  • Continuous improvement and process enhancement recommendations
  • Support for shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work area
  • Strict adherence to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures

Must-Haves

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or comparable environments
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability
  • Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related
  • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls
  • Trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.)
  • Food manufacturing background and GMP knowledge

Physical Demands

  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing for extended periods
  • Regular lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs
  • Working at heights and in confined spaces as required
  • Use of required PPE

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with exposure to:

  • Moving machinery and industrial equipment
  • Temperature fluctuations
  • Noise
  • Industrial chemicals
