Role Overview

Lead a vibrant, design-forward optical boutique where service, style, and precision meet. As the Optical Boutique General Manager, you’ll own store performance end to end—coaching a talented team, delighting customers with personalized eyewear experiences, and ensuring every detail on the floor reflects the brand.

A Day in the Life

You open the doors with a plan: review the day’s goals, set the floor for traffic, and align the team on service standards. Midday, you’re side by side with sales associates and opticians—demonstrating consultative selling, guiding frame selection, and ensuring accurate dispensing. You connect with your district or regional leader on staffing and performance milestones, tackle a customer escalation with poise, audit inventory and visual standards, and close the day with results and next steps.

What You’ll Lead

  • Full store operations: opening/closing, staffing, scheduling, and floor management
  • Coaching and development to build a high-performing team of sales associates and opticians
  • Sales execution through deep product knowledge, upselling, and a consultative approach
  • Premium customer journeys—from frame selection through precise dispensing
  • Inventory control, visual merchandising, and timely product replenishment to brand standards
  • Partnership with district/regional leadership on hiring, performance reviews, and business planning
  • Swift, professional resolution of customer concerns and escalations
  • Compliance with optical retail standards, safety protocols, and company policies

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of retail management experience; optical, fashion, or specialty retail preferred
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and talent development skills
  • Experience with optical dispensing or frame fitting—or close partnership with licensed opticians—is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
  • ABO Certified
