Role Snapshot
Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday (4:00pm - 2:30pm) with overtime as needed
Why This Role Matters
- Ensure scheduled production starts on time through precise equipment setups.
- Reduce downtime by partnering with operators and rapidly troubleshooting root causes.
- Elevate asset reliability via PM execution, major mechanical overhauls, and approved modifications.
- Protect people and product quality by following safety procedures and GMPs.
What You’ll Tackle
- Set up production equipment to run scheduled production.
- Work with operators to identify issues; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and motor systems; complete required repairs.
- Read technical manuals; document changes and setups for future reference.
- Perform necessary repairs and major overhauls on packaging equipment.
- Verify electrical/motor functionality and configuration.
- Execute preventive maintenance; assist with design changes and implement approved equipment modifications.
- Follow approved procedures, safety rules, and GMP standards.
- Provide coverage across shifts when needed; operate well independently and on a team.

Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ mechanical experience in high-speed packaging/manufacturing; food industry background highly preferred.
- Associate’s in electronics and/or Electrical Diploma/Certificate with 3+ years’ experience, or 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
- Willingness to work different shifts (days, afternoons, nights) as needed.
- Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-changing environment; detail orientation and problem-solving strength.
- Excellent grasp of Health & Safety and Lockout procedures.
- Experience with CMMS is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset; collaborative team contributor.
