Millwright Supervisor

  • Abilities:

    Oversee all building related activities
    Responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.
    Coordinates construction activities and renovation projects, implementation of new equipment.
    Supervisory experience with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
    Keeps management well informed of maintenance activities.
    Knowledge of Hazwoper, OSHA, DPH, EPA, NFPA, State Building Codes and infection control guidelines for work in a manufacturing facility.
    Must be able to read schematics and blueprints
    Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    Ability to successfully coordinate the activities of staff and contractors through multiple parallel projects.
    Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
    Maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
    Responsible for coordinating, repairing and maintenance of all equipment, machines, instruments, pumps, blowers, and compressors, etc.
    Conduct work related training sessions effectively and independently
    Qualifications:

    Able to able to manage multiple priorities, objectives, and deadlines.
    Experience in building operations and systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, fire systems, & electrical.
    Performing minor repairs as needed around building, includes any mechanical tasks required of Management
    Experience implementing Preventative Maintenance programs.
    Manage Preventive Maintenance logs, make sure all preventive maintenance is up to date, and report status to Management.
    Provide Management with Chemical Inventory list and maintain status of inventory of chemicals in the building.
    Maintain the Task lists assigned by Management, the lists are broken down into, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual and Yearly Tasks.
    Provide Management with status of Task Lists.
    Coordinate Quarterly Wastewater Cleaning, experience preferred. Work with external agencies as required.
    Must be able to respond and/or coordinate on a 24/7 basis to emergency situations involving critical system failures at the property.
    Ideal candidate would be part of the Safety Committee and would be the lead Safety Coordinator for the company.
    Required Certifications; Hazwoper, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR/AED, DOT Health card, OSHA, Hoisting license, Train the trainer-Fork Lift Instructor, MA construction Supervisors License preferred.
    At least four years of diverse experience in facilities management, including three to five years of supervisory experience preferred. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    Hours are:

    Monday through Friday

    7am – 3:30pm
