A day in this role

As a Facilities Reliability & Utilities Technician, you’ll be the on-site go‑to for the Hauppauge, NY campus, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production, facilities, and auxiliary systems: boilers; air compressors; air handlers; chillers; pumps and motors; HVAC units; waste treatment; RO/DI; electrical and lighting.
• Own strategic spares—track inventory and procure replacement parts to keep uptime high.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, life-safety and facility equipment; document findings; perform or coordinate repairs.
• Boost reliability, availability, and efficiency through maintenance program enhancements, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.
• Schedule and oversee external service vendors performing site maintenance.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of facilities or maintenance experience.
• Hands-on mechanical skill set: pinpoint mechanical failures, service moving components, perform PMs, and support building systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting proficiency—diagnose and repair circuits, wiring, and controls.

Physical and work requirements

• Lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs; frequent use of hands; climbing, bending, stooping.
• High School Diploma required.
• Punctual, reliable attendance; able to work overtime on short notice and respond to off‑hours emergencies.
• Commitment to working safely and following company HSE policies and procedures.

Compensation and benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is $72,000 – $93,000 and may be adjusted over time. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
