Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (shift differential applies)
Core impact
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-complexity assets: welding robots, CNC machinery, hydraulic presses, equipment movers, jacks, cranes, motors, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems spanning 12V–480V, including 3-phase power (480V), PLCs, drives, motion control, HVAC, welding machines, industrial electric vehicles, scissor lifts, switchboards, transformers, and drive units.
- Guide safe movement of vehicles across the facility to support production.
- Install, set up, and commission new equipment; execute routine PMs and document results.
- Maintain spare parts accuracy and equipment/process documentation.
- Use hand and power tools safely; fabricate fixtures, racks, and prototypes.
- Obtain and sustain required credentials: cranes, forklifts, equipment movers, fall protection, Arc Flash, and other site-specific qualifications.
- Complete work orders, quality records, and labor hour entries with precision.
- Hit quality, schedule, and labor targets with minimal supervision; share knowledge to develop teammates.
- Model safety and PPE usage; keep work areas clean and orderly; perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4+ years in industrial equipment/system maintenance and repair.
- 4+ years working with PLCs, 3-phase 480V power, motor/motion control, and 12V–480V electrical systems.
- 2+ years hands-on with CNCs, lathes, or machining.
- Proficient reading electrical schematics, loop drawings, hydraulic diagrams, P&IDs, and blueprints.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise; strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Basic English proficiency for instructions and communication.
Physical requirements
- Extended standing, climbing, crouching, and sitting.
- Lift >40 lbs as needed.
- Comfort with heights and outdoor work in varying weather.
- Valid driver’s license.
Compensation
- $34.50/hr – $38.83/hr base in Lexington, NC
- Additional 10% shift differential
- Pay may be higher or lower depending on budget and your experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications
