About the Position:
We are looking for an entry-level Welder to join a manufacturing team in Wood Dale, IL. This is a great opportunity for someone who recently completed welding school and is looking to build their skills in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel materials.
Read blueprints and follow measurements to complete projects.
Use jigs and fixtures to position and assemble parts.
Tack, fit, and finish welds on products such as shelves, tables, cabinets, and store fixtures.
Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
Recent welding trade school or welding program completion required.
Basic MIG and TIG welding experience.
Ability to read blueprints and take measurements.
Comfortable using basic measuring tools.
Must be able to pass a welding test.
