Incoming Inspection & QA Specialist (Nuclear I&C)

Become the quality gate for our I&C production

Based at our Warrendale, PA facility and reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, Global I&C Production & IV&V, you will safeguard product integrity from receipt through assembly by applying rigorous inspection methods and standards.

What you’ll do

  • Read engineering work orders; review inspection procedures, drawings, and specifications to define inspection criteria for mechanical and electrical components.
  • Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures throughout all quality control activities.
  • Examine vendor test data and confirm its accuracy and completeness.
  • Inspect electro-mechanical parts and assemblies; detect and document defects.
  • Perform receipt inspections by reviewing purchase orders and verifying conformance.

Warrendale, PA — collaborating closely with production, supply chain, and engineering partners.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field, or completion of a recognized technical program in lieu of formal education (e.g., Naval Nuclear or other military program).
  • Ability to meet qualification requirements of Westinghouse Level 2 procedure WEC 2.9 and achieve Level 1.
  • Certification within the first 6 months to meet NRC 1.58 Regulatory Guide and ANSI/ASME 45.2.6.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or comparable ERP platforms for work orders, material movement, and inspection documentation.
  • Strong skill reading mechanical/electrical schematics, bills of materials, and technical specs.
  • Current or prior IPC credentials such as IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑WHMA‑A‑620, or IPC‑A‑600.

Pay transparency

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $41,069.47 - $94,253,36 per year.
