Line Packer

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Line Packers to join our production team in a fast-paced cold storage environment. The Line Packer is responsible for packaging products, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met while following all food safety and company policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pack products accurately and efficiently on a production line.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues.
• Maintain production pace to meet daily quotas and deadlines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with labeling, sorting, stacking, and palletizing products as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 5pounts to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Previous production, warehouse, or food processing experience is a plus but not required.

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Employees must be able to wear and work comfortably in:

• Rubber boots
• Smocks
• Hair nets and beard nets (if applicable)
• Ear plugs/hearing protection
• Gloves
• Safety glasses
• Bump caps
• Safety equipment as required by company policy

Work Environment

• Cold refrigerated production facility.
• Wet and slippery conditions may be present.
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand movements required.
• Fast-paced environment with production goals and deadlines.
