Order Picking & Labeling: Operate an order picker to retrieve glass; prepare windshield/body-glass crates; use an RF Modulated scanner to select and pick orders; print and affix a content label to each finished crate.
Packaging & Palletizing: Open crates or metal racks using a drill, saw, or cutting method; hand-build and assemble boxes; add dunnage or foam; seal with a tape gun; label boxes or envelopes; stack packaged items onto pallets.
Quality Auditing: Count all parts in each crate or shipping container to match the content label; close crates for shipment via stapling, banding, or shrink wrap; audit containers to confirm serial numbers and quantities match the truck’s container list.
Trailer Loading/Unloading: Inspect trailers; drive a forklift to lift, move, and stack crates or racks of glass in or out of trailers; scan every container to the correct trailer or warehouse location using an RF Modulated scanner; regularly use nail guns, crow bars, hammers, and other hand or pneumatic tools.
Replenishment & Transfers: Operate a forklift or standup reach truck to transfer parts between locations with an RF Modulated scanner; open and prepare crates for storage in pick racks; frequently use crow bars, hammers, and other hand or power tools.
