  • Maintain clear documentation and revision history throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet internal quality expectations.

Core responsibilities

  • Modify existing product drawings to match project and customer requirements.
  • Create and update detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Partner with project managers, drafters, and other teams to confirm feasibility and accuracy.
  • Interpret customer requests and incorporate design changes while preserving design standards.
  • Support engineering and production with well-structured, accurate documentation.
  • Control drawing updates, revisions, and records from kickoff through release.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design work in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; comfort with 3D and general CAD workflows.
  • Experience revising existing designs to align with customer specifications.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Associate/technical degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred (not required).
