Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, based on experience
TekPro is partnering with a precision aerospace manufacturer to hire a seasoned engineer who lives for complex toolpaths and pristine finishes. As a Multiaxis CAM Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll translate intricate CAD models and GD&T into efficient, reliable 5‑axis milling programs that turn raw stock into flight‑ready components.
You’ll kick off with a review of new part models and prints, clarifying GD&T callouts and tolerances. In your preferred CAM platform (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar), you’ll craft toolpaths, simulate, and post programs for 5‑axis mills. After a handoff with machinists, you’ll head to the floor to validate setups, fine‑tune feeds and speeds, and troubleshoot anything that stands between the plan and perfect parts. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with production to streamline cycle times, elevate part quality, and fold best practices into continuous improvement projects.
About the Opportunity: This opening is through TekPro, a direct recruitment partner to leading aerospace and precision manufacturers. The role is onsite at a precision facility in Rochester, NY.
