A Day in the Life

Your day starts around 8:00 am, reviewing your schedule for residential and light commercial calls. You might begin with a seasonal tune-up, move on to diagnosing an electrical issue on a heat pump, and finish the afternoon with a new system install, ensuring all work aligns with local codes. You wrap up by documenting your service notes, tidying your work area, and prepping for tomorrow’s calls.

What You’ll Do

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems in homes and light-commercial facilities
• Perform preventive maintenance and conduct system inspections
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems and recommend solutions
• Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with local codes
• Document work accurately and submit paperwork on time
• Care for tools, equipment, and maintain a clean, professional workspace

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician or Installer
• Solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• EPA certification preferred
• Ability to read basic schematics and follow technical directions
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and problem-solving ability
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Schedule & Pay

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with opportunities for overtime. Pay ranges from $18 to $26 per hour based on skills and experience.
