Role Snapshot

• Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
• Extras: Overtime opportunities
• Focus: Build, repair, and optimize dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling

Your Mission

• Engineer and fabricate dies, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment from print to install
• Set up, program, and operate both CNC and manual mills, lathes, grinders, and presses
• Hold exacting tolerances to ±0.0005" using disciplined layouts and inspections
• Select materials; clean, deburr, and finish parts for production readiness
• Diagnose tooling and equipment issues; implement corrective actions and process improvements
• Apply precision metrology for in-process and final verification
• Champion safety, quality, teamwork, and reliable attendance
• Flex for overtime to meet build schedules

Tools & Technologies

• CNC and manual machining centers (mills/lathes), surface grinders, presses
• Blueprints, GD&T fundamentals, layout techniques
• Indicators, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision instruments

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical school machine tool apprenticeship or equivalent
• 10,000+ hours of hands-on machining experience
• Comprehensive understanding of machining, tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, and metal forming
• Strong mechanical aptitude, solid math, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail orientation and a commitment to building high-precision components
