CDL A Regional Driver Trainee
Location: Montgomery, AL — 365 Freight USA is recruiting recent CDL-A graduates and newly licensed drivers for a paid 4–6 week mentor program that leads to solo regional driving based out of Montgomery. This role is suited to new drivers seeking hands-on road training, modern equipment, comprehensive benefits after training, and a clear progression into regional routes throughout the Southeast and Eastern U.S.
What this position offers:
- Paid 4–6 week mentor training with an experienced driver
- $1,600 to $1,800 per week after successful completion of training
- Weekly pay by direct deposit
- Regional routes across the Southeast and Eastern U.S., with schedules designed to keep drivers closer to home in the Montgomery area

Route and training details:
- Begin with a paid mentor program emphasizing safe, professional driving skills
- Transition into solo regional assignments upon successful completion of training
- Operate dry van freight on regional routes throughout the Southeast and Eastern U.S.
- Comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and hours-of-service requirements
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
- Communicate professionally with mentors, dispatch, and customers
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Graduate of an accredited CDL school
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Able to meet DOT physical requirements and complete required pre-employment screenings
- Safety-first mindset, reliability, coachability, and professional communication
- No prior over-the-road experience required
