Commercial HVAC Systems Installation Specialist

A day in this role

Step onto commercial sites ready to put your mechanical know-how to work. You’ll install rooftop units, split systems, and advanced VRF equipment; bring new systems online through meticulous start-up and commissioning; and keep operations smooth by diagnosing issues, repairing faults, and replacing components such as compressors and control boards. Every day, you’ll uphold safety codes and coordinate clearly with project managers and teammates.

Who thrives here

Experienced installers (5+ years) who can work independently, manage start-up procedures without handholding, and communicate well. Residential installers eager to transition into commercial work are welcome, as are seasoned commercial pros. A strong mechanical background is essential.

What you’ll tackle

• Install rooftop units, split systems, and VRF systems
• Start-up and commissioning of new equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
• Replace key components (e.g., compressors, control boards)
• Perform maintenance on existing systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety codes and standards
• Communicate effectively with project managers and crew members

What you bring

• 5+ years of HVAC experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Confidence working independently and handling start-up procedures
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools (provided by you)
