Your Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems
• Operate, inspect, and maintain switchgear, panels, and distribution equipment
• Handle high-voltage work at 208V, 480V, and above
• Diagnose PLC-controlled machinery (I/O checks, sensors, fault code resolution)
• Service generators and verify transfer switch performance
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams
• Update panel schedules; execute load balancing plans
• Install and maintain conduit, cable tray, and wiring
• Follow LOTO, arc flash boundaries, and OSHA requirements
• Complete work orders, logs, and documentation with precision

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License (Alabama or reciprocal state)
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
• Demonstrated strength with:
  • Switchgear and distribution systems
  • High-voltage tasks (208V+)
  • PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic, I/O, controls); programming experience beneficial
  • Generators and backup power systems
  • Electrical safety practices (LOTO, PPE, energized work)
• Independent problem-solver with complex systems

Preferred Experience

• 7+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or critical facilities
• Comfort with:
  • 480V / 3-phase distribution
  • ATS (automatic transfer switches)
  • Instrumentation and control wiring
  • BMS/BAS or industrial monitoring solutions
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E

Environment & Safety

• Industrial facility; mix of indoor and outdoor work
• Exposure to heat, noise, and high-voltage equipment
• PPE and strict safety protocols required
