CDL‑B Bobtail Delivery Driver – 26' Box Truck

Express Employment is recruiting for a CDL B Driver to support local deliveries with a 26-foot bobtail box truck.

A day in the life

Start your morning with a thorough pre-trip inspection and log entry, then roll out to serve established routes. You’ll operate a vehicle at or above 26,000 lbs GVWR, use a power liftgate and hand truck to move cases into each customer’s specified storage area, and collect any returns. You’ll follow special pickup and delivery instructions, maintain your daily vehicle log, and finish with a post-trip check—always keeping safety first and staying fully compliant with DOT requirements.

Schedule & pay

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• $26.00 per hour
• Overtime as needed

What you’ll do

• Operate a 26 ft bobtail/box truck transporting cargo
• Use power liftgate and hand truck to deliver cases into designated storage areas; retrieve return cases
• Follow all special pickup/delivery instructions precisely
• Complete pre-trip inspections and daily logs; maintain accurate vehicle records
• Maintain compliance with all DOT rules and regulations

What you’ll bring

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• 3+ years of recent experience operating a bobtail/box truck
• Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Valid DOT medical/health card
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus

Compliance note
