Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect parts and assemblies.
Review and interpret existing CMM programs to validate inspection paths and results (no programming edits required).
Evaluate CMM‑reported failures and determine when manual verification is required to confirm accuracy.
Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) on prototype components, supporting multiple cycle runs until parts meet specification.
Perform in‑process checks as needed depending on production requirements.
Calypso (or equivalent CMM metrology software) experience — must be able to navigate, interpret, and review inspection programs.
FAIR / FAI experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience inspecting highly complex parts (hundreds to thousands of individual features).
Aerospace and AS9100 experience (required).
Ability to pass an internal certification process covering GD&T, blueprint reading, and internal specifications.
Ability to pass a vision exam.
High attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
