Glass Plant Material Flow Technician

Shape the flow of glass from dock to production

Step into a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse where your skill on a forklift and eye for detail keep our operation moving. From the moment a trailer backs into a bay to the second finished product ships out, you ensure materials are received accurately, staged precisely, and stored safely.

What a day looks like

You begin with the OSHA-required pre-shift inspection of your forklift and a quick scan of the floor for any loose wood or plastic. A truck arrives—raw glass and supplies. You unload, inspect for accuracy or damage, note shortages or quality issues, and move materials to the correct production or storage locations. You place raw glass carefully into the robot staging area so production never waits. Between runs, you remove scrap and recyclables to designated dumpsters, straighten pallets and racks, and confirm every load is secured before transport or storage. You close out by processing Bills of Lading and ASNs and reporting any equipment or rack damage you spotted.
