Position Summary
We are seeking skilledMaintenance Controls / Mechanical Techniciansto support CNC machining operations across multiple departments. These roles require highly skilled technicians with bothmechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise—particularly within CNC environments. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of machining systems to ensure optimal uptime, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers (Honor, Cincinnati, Hyundai, Kenrie, Okuma, Toyota, and Mitsubishi systems)
- Perform diagnostic checks on control systems and interpretelectrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Utilize ladder logic to diagnose and correct system faults (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens controls)
- Execute and document preventative maintenance (PM) procedures per manufacturer recommendations
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Complete work orders and log repairs, parts used, and time through theCMMS system
- Performlockout/tagout (LOTO)and follow all safety and environmental protocols
- Support robotic cells (Fanuc Robodrill & Gorbel Mill) and assist with sensor calibration
- Maintain and service plant utilities, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Assist with installation, rigging, and leveling of new machines or production equipment
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and leadership to enhance equipment performance and reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience inindustrial maintenanceor CNC equipment support
- Proficient withFanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens control systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting120V, 208V, and 480V (3-phase)circuits
- Ability to read and interpretblueprints, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams
- Experience withhydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of machine leveling, alignment, and geometric inspection
- Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to work overtime and respond to maintenance priorities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or journeyman card preferred
