Electrical Control Panel Fabrication Technician

Step into a clean, modern shop where every wire you land and every component you mount helps keep critical systems running. As an Electrical Control Panel Fabrication Technician, you’ll own projects from schematic to finished panel—building with pride, accuracy, and independence on a close-knit team.

A day in the life

  • Start your morning reviewing electrical schematics and line diagrams, planning your layout and wire routing.
  • Assemble and mount breakers, drives, relays, and terminals using hand and power tools.
  • Route, label, and terminate wiring with a clean, methodical approach—then verify your work.
  • Work independently to complete full panels to spec and quality standards.
  • Pitch in on light metal fabrication when needed to keep builds moving.

What you bring

  • 3+ years building or wiring industrial control panels
  • Fluent reading/interpreting electrical schematics and line diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with industrial power, including 3-phase, 480V
  • Strong proficiency with hand and power tools
  • High school diploma or GED

Bonus skills (preferred)

  • Technical degree or certification
  • Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting exposure
  • Light metal fabrication background

Schedule

  • Core hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Regular overtime during peak demand (often to ~5:00 p.m. and occasional Saturdays)

Compensation & benefits

  • Hourly range: $29 – $34
  • Contract-to-hire pathway (approximately 6 months)
  • Upon conversion: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid holidays and PTO
