Level 2 Removable Dental Technician

Level 2 Removable Dental Technician (Start-to-Finish / Production Focused)

Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Position Type: Full-Time
Management Responsibilities: None (100% Bench Production)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, independent Level 2 Removable Dental Technician to join our team in Mount Prospect, IL. This role is strictly a production-focused position—perfect for a skilled artisan who wants to focus on their craft from start to finish without the stress of managing a team, handling administrative paperwork, or dealing with personnel management.
As a Level 2 Technician, you will be trusted to handle cases independently from the initial model work all the way through to the final polish. If you take pride in producing top-tier full dentures, partials, and repairs from start to finish, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Full Case Fabrication: Handle the full lifecycle of removable prosthetics (full dentures, partials, flippers, and bite splints) from start to finish.
Model Work & Setup: Pour plaster models, fabricate custom trays, craft wax bite rims, and set denture teeth with high anatomical and occlusal accuracy.
Processing & Finishing: Meticulously pack, process, deflask, contour, and high-shine polish acrylic or resin materials.
Repairs & Relines: Efficiently execute denture repairs, tooth additions, wire clasps, re-basing, and chairside/laboratory relines.
Quality Control: Self-inspect your own work to ensure optimal functional bite mechanics, precise doctor specification compliance, and highly aesthetic margins before final delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in removable dental prosthetics (Level 2/Intermediate to Advanced skillset).
Start-to-Finish Competency: Must be fully proficient in every stage of denture production (pouring, setting, processing, and finishing).
No Desire for Management: Looking for a solid bench technician who is happiest focusing 100% on their own case output and quality.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately read and execute detailed laboratory prescriptions from clinicians.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, consistent attendance, and ability to meet steady daily production deadlines.
Benefits & Compensation

Competitive Hourly Pay / Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 / hour depending on experience
