Impact you will make
- Attack processing issues head-on with the mold department team to stabilize quality and throughput.
- Lead preventive maintenance efforts to extend tooling life and performance.
- Partner with outside sources to advance tooling-related processing methods.
- Audit current injection molding processes and implement optimizations.
- Lock in best-known methods by documenting standardized, repeatable setups.
- Maintain cavitation through precise process control.
- Elevate continuous improvement by assisting action teams and mentoring peers.
- Commission new tools, then create and maintain robust process sheets.
- Complete required safety and operator training to uphold safe operations.
- Flex to business needs with overtime and weekend coverage as required.
What sets you up for success
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework a plus.
- Practical understanding of injection molding fundamentals.
- Physical capability to walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Growth mindset and dedication to safety.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
- Technical strengths in: plastic extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, tool/die/mold setup, and blueprint interpretation.
Compensation you can expect
To meet pay transparency requirements, we share a good-faith range for this role. Compensation decisions consider skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. It is uncommon to hire at the top of the range; each offer reflects the specifics of the situation. The present estimated pay range is $20.00 to $28.00 per hour.
