Principal Software Integration Engineer

Caddis Solutions is a Maryland-based engineering company supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of War and Intelligence Community. Our engineers solve challenging technical problems across software, cloud, SI/ML, data, and systems engineering.

When software, storage, and networks all contribute to a computing problem, finding the cause can be the most interesting part of the job. Here, you’ll integrate and troubleshoot software for High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, helping keep large-scale environments reliable and ready for the people using them.

The problems you’ll work on

  • Software integration and support. Work hands-on across the computing stack to bring software into operation and resolve problems.
  • Connected infrastructure. Investigate challenges spanning Linux systems, job scheduling, storage, and high-speed networks.
  • Scripting and automation. Make practical use of code to support reliable operations and repeatable work.

Python or shell scripting experience is useful, as is familiarity with Slurm, Lustre, VMware, and InfiniBand. This role brings those technologies into a practical setting where integration and problem-solving go together.

Experience and education

This role requires at least 10 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, or 15 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.

Benefits include:

  • 8% employer 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting
  • Company contributions toward CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield medical insurance premiums
  • 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO)
  • 11 paid holidays
  • Company-paid dental insurance
  • Company-paid vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Company-paid short-term disability insurance
  • Company-paid long-term disability insurance

This position requires an active U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
