Electrical Construction & Maintenance Technician — Industrial Systems

Help us design, install, and commission the electrical backbone of advanced process equipment and automated systems. At Re:Build Optimation, you’ll apply your craft across diverse industries—traditional and green energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, glass, and advanced manufacturing—while growing from L1 to L5 (or leading at the top of the scale).

About the work

  • Execute industrial electrical installation, maintenance, and repair in compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E.
  • Perform conduit and wiring, motor control and drive installations, power distribution, lighting, and communications.
  • Assemble and wire machine and skid packages.
  • Interpret and work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, and job specs.
  • Diagnose issues with multimeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Engage fully in safety: toolbox talks, audits, and immediate reporting of unsafe acts/conditions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and PMs to deliver on scope, quality, and schedule.
  • At L4–L5, mentor and guide less-experienced electricians.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience aligned with level (L1–L5)—from learning the trade to expert execution.
  • Ability to operate in industrial, commercial, and field settings.
  • Skill reading electrical documents and following detailed instructions.
  • Physical capability to work at heights and in confined spaces, tolerate hot/cold environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency and strong communication.
  • Willingness to work full-time days with overtime and occasional travel.

Compensation & schedule

Hourly pay: $27.00–$55.00, based on experience. Full-time days with overtime and occasional travel.
