Pediatric Dentist – Wyomissing, PA

We are hiring a full-time Pediatric Dentist for Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, in the Reading area of Berks County. You will care for infants, children, teens and patients with special health care needs, and you will help families build positive attitudes toward dental visits from the very first appointment. The role is ideal for a specialist who enjoys play, patience and prevention.

What you will do

Perform exams, cleanings, fluoride and sealant care, and caries risk assessments for young patients.

Place restorations, stainless steel crowns and perform pulpotomies, space maintenance and interceptive orthodontic guidance.

Use behavior guidance, nitrous oxide and, when appropriate, sedation to keep children comfortable.

Treat patients with special needs and trauma cases, coordinating with pediatricians in Berks County.

Educate parents about nutrition, habits, thumb sucking and home care.

What we are looking for

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.

Completion of a CODA-accredited pediatric dentistry residency, and board certified or board eligible in pediatric dentistry.

Pennsylvania dental license, or eligibility to obtain one, and any required sedation credentials or the ability to obtain them.

A warm, upbeat personality, strong communication with families and a team-first mindset.

Compensation and benefits

Pay range: $250,000 to $350,000 per year for this full-time position, according to experience and production. Benefits may include paid continuing education, malpractice insurance, a 401(k) plan, health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and licensing fee support.

Schedule

Full-time, daytime weekday hours, typically four or five days per week, with schedules planned around school calendars when possible. Weekend work is not routinely required. We will confirm your Wyomissing schedule together during the interview.
