A day in this role

On 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30 pm–12:00 am), you’ll step to your machine and:

• Transform engineering drawings into finished parts on Takisawa CNC lathes with FANUC controls.
• Validate critical dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and comparators to ensure every feature is in spec.
• Capture production and quality results in the company system to keep work flowing smoothly.
• Keep equipment clean, organized, and running to department and company standards.

What you bring

• 3–5 years operating CNC lathes, ideally on Takisawa platforms.
• Hands-on setup experience: workholding selection, tool kitting, touching off tools/setting offsets, interpreting manufacturing drawings, and obtaining first-article approval on FANUC controls.
• Use of an offline pre-setter for tool offsets and familiarity with quick-change tooling.
• Experience with macro programming and proficiency in Mastercam or other major programming software.
• Solid grasp of GD&T and the ability to read/interpret drawing requirements.
• Competence with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators) and shop math.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Compensation & schedule

• Pay Range: $27–$29 (1st shift) & $30.24–$32.48 (2nd shift)
• Shift: 2nd shift, Mon–Fri, 3:30 pm–12:00 am
• Quarterly Bonuses
