Mechanical Reliability Technician

Imagine Your Day

Based in Waupaca, WI, you arrive to a facility where uptime matters. You start your shift by reviewing maintenance logs, then move to the floor to diagnose a vibration on a critical piece of equipment. With a blueprint in one hand and a meter in the other, you isolate the issue, lock it out using LOTO, and return it to peak performance. Before the day ends, you complete preventive inspections, document your findings, and huddle with teammates to plan improvements for tomorrow.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Diagnose, repair, and optimize mechanical systems across plant machinery and equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance routines and detailed inspections to maximize reliability.
  • Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) rigorously to safeguard yourself and your team.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide troubleshooting and rebuilds.
  • Accurately document work performed and escalate recurring issues to leadership.
  • Collaborate with peers to strengthen processes and increase equipment uptime.

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices and inspection methods.
  • Confidence using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Ability to read and apply blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills, thoroughness, and a team-first mindset.

Pay & Schedule

  • $30.09–$45.00 per hour base pay (DOE)
  • Time-and-a-half on Saturdays
  • Double time on Sundays
  • $2.00/hour premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
  • Overtime available
