1st shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
A day in this role
From print to product—you’ll translate schematics into precision-built cable kits and wire harnesses for our rail systems. You’ll bring drawings to life, validate quality, and ensure every unit meets exacting standards for performance and safety.
What you’ll do
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, and reports to determine materials and assembly steps.
- Assemble parts and subassemblies; position, align, and fasten components using hand and power tools.
- Measure components and verify tolerances with precision instruments (e.g., calipers).
- Align, fit, and assemble parts using fixtures, templates, or microscopes as needed.
- Inspect surfaces for defects and verify part dimensions/clearances to confirm conformance to specifications.
- Keep work areas organized and maintain tool inventory.
- Inspect and adjust completed units to meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on assembly experience with the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams.
- Experience building wire harnesses and cable kits.
- Comfort operating power tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Effective communication in English (read, speak, write).
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to learn quickly and execute with precision.
