The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining environmental and workplace safety programs within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting safe work practices, and helping create a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
Support and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs
Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections of facilities
Identify safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
Assist with maintaining and updating safety policies and procedures
Lead or support safety training for employees
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and recommend preventive actions
Track and maintain safety documentation and records
Work with Workers’ Compensation and safety partners as needed
Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Knowledge of OSHA and general EHS regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with employees at all levels of an organization
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
Experience supporting multi-site operations
Experience conducting safety training and audits
Manufacturing / industrial environment
Regular time spent on the shop floor
May require travel between nearby facilities
