- You like to own the process—set up, operate, inspect, and deliver final parts.

What you’ll do
- Program 3‑axis and 5‑axis mills, plus CNC lathes, for one‑off and short‑run prototype parts
- Choose tooling/fixtures, perform setups, and run machines to spec
- Use micrometers, calipers, and indicators for in‑process checks and tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot toolpaths and optimize setups for speed and surface finish
- Keep thorough records: setup sheets, tooling lists, and job traveler updates
- Champion continuous improvement across strategies, tooling, and workflow
- Own your work from concept to final inspection
When you’ll work
- 1st shift with flexible hours; most start at 6 AM
- Optional overtime is available while maintaining work‑life balance
What you bring
- 3+ years as a CNC Programmer/Machinist (prototype or R&D preferred)
- Proficiency in MasterCAM, HSMWorks, or similar CAM platforms
- Strong command of 3‑axis and 5‑axis milling and/or lathe programming
- Hands‑on setup, tooling selection, and machine operation experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings, apply GD&T, and follow technical documentation
- Comfort with precision measurement tools
- Self‑starter with high attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Compensation
“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $45/hr and $55+/hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.”
