What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing high-precision components that require exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating CNC lathes or CNC mills
- Producing precision-machined components from aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Performing machine setups and making tooling adjustments as needed
- Conducting first article and in-process inspections
- Verifying dimensions, tolerances, runout, and overall part quality
- Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators
- Supporting a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with multiple daily setups
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience with CNC Lathes or CNC Mills
- Ability to perform machine setups independently
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision-machined components
- Ability to perform quality inspections and verify completed work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Fanuc controls
- First Article Inspection (FAI)
- G-code editing or troubleshooting
- Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
- Runout and concentricity verification
- Air gauging experience
- Aerospace, medical device, defense, or other precision manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
- Stand and move throughout the shift
