Step into a day where you set the pace for multiple construction efforts from kickoff to closeout. As our Construction Program Manager — Vertical Projects, you’ll own delivery across schedule, budget, safety, and quality, guiding teams and trade partners to the finish line.

A day in the life

Your morning begins with reviewing integrated schedules and cost reports, aligning the team on priorities, and confirming critical path activities. Midday, you’re on site—walking the work, validating quality, enforcing safety standards and building codes, and unblocking issues on the spot. In the afternoon, you reconcile procurement status for key materials and equipment, negotiate changes with contractors and suppliers, and prepare concise updates for stakeholders that spotlight milestones and risks. You wrap with action items clearly assigned and tomorrow’s plan locked.

Core responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules and cost plans; track performance and course-correct as needed.
  • Facilitate clear communication among clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep objectives aligned.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to verify progress, quality, and safety; resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and present project reports that highlight achievements, variances, and next steps for stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment for quality, value, and timely delivery.
  • Lead negotiations and resolve conflicts with contractors and suppliers to protect project outcomes.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success managing construction projects, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities; capable of steering multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, processes, and applicable legal regulations.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills across all levels and partners.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Calm under pressure; adaptable to shifting priorities and evolving project requirements.
