How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs that align with OSHA, EPA, and state/local requirements.
- Design safety training with the training team to embed safe work practices across all departments.
- Lead investigations of work-related injuries and illnesses; implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
- Advance Human Performance by equipping teams with training, tools, and event learning sessions.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and HR to resolve safety concerns and elevate performance.
- Assist with Workers’ Compensation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Facilitate the employee Safety Committee to drive engagement and ownership.
- Conduct audits to identify potential hazards, define preventive measures, and track closure.
- Oversee plant security operations, directing communications with the security provider.
- Manage environmental responsibilities including hazardous materials, air permits, and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
- BS in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental field, or related discipline; 5+ years of EHS experience.
- Preferred credentials: CIH, CSP, and/or CHP.
- Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
- Proven experience with hazardous materials programs, air permitting, and environmental reporting.
- Strong computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative team mindset; effective independently and in group settings.
- Skilled at prioritizing multiple deadlines and performing under pressure.
- Available to respond to emergencies and work flexible hours as needed.

- Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA)
