Operate tractor‑trailers or straight trucks to deliver raw materials and finished goods safely and on‑time to customers within Northern California.
Key responsibilities
Conduct pre‑/post‑trip inspections; complete DVIRs & ELD logs
Secure loads via straps/chains; verify BOLs and delivery paperwork
Comply with DOT/FMCSA hours‑of‑service and company safety rules
Communicate delays, mechanical issues and route changes to dispatch
Assist with loading/unloading via pallet jack or forklift when required
Typical requirements
Valid CA Class A CDL; 12 + months verifiable experience preferred
Clean MVR; current medical card
Ability to operate manual or automatic transmissions; doubles/triples or tanker endorsements a plus
Forklift certification beneficial for onsite moves
