Commercial Electrical Field Supervisor

Position Overview:

Rack Electric is seeking a highly skilled **Electrical Field Manager **to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of electrical experience, specializing in commercial and field electrical projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical engineering, load calculations, and the ability to draw and submit plans to the building department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee commercial and field electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Conduct electrical engineering assessments, load calculations, and system designs for various projects.
• Prepare, review, and submit electrical plans and documentation to the building department for approval.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of electrical installations.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field teams.
• Stay up to date with electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical work, with a focus on commercial and field projects.
• Strong background in electrical engineering and load calculations.
• Proficiency in reading, drawing, and submitting **electrical plans **for permit approvals.
• Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software for electrical design and planning is a plus.
