What your day looks like

You arrive at our state-of-the-art Dover facility, review the day’s work orders, and pull the latest prints. You load and set tooling, call up programs, and fine-tune offsets on the CNC lathe to hit tight tolerances. Throughout the shift, you verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers, monitor cycle performance, and make on-the-fly adjustments for quality and throughput. When needed, you’ll use the overhead crane to safely move material, perform routine preventive maintenance, and partner with teammates to troubleshoot any machining challenges. You wrap up by documenting results and keeping your area clean, safe, and production-ready.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certificate preferred.
  • Hands-on experience as a CNC lathe machinist or closely related role.
  • Solid understanding of CNC operation and programming fundamentals.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane.
  • Fluency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with precision gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Keen attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, fast-moving team.
