Network Technical Expert
Caddis Solutions is a Maryland-based engineering company supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of War and Intelligence Community. Our engineers solve challenging technical problems across software, cloud, SI/ML, data, and systems engineering.
Help build the connections that keep demanding computing environments moving. You’ll design, build, and troubleshoot datacenter and High Performance Computing (HPC) networks, putting network expertise to work where performance and reliability have a visible impact. The work offers a hands-on view of how traffic, infrastructure, and security come together.
What you’ll work with
- Connect the environment. Work with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and related infrastructure.
- Understand and improve the flow. Apply a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching, and L2/L3 protocols to network design and troubleshooting.
- Keep connectivity secure. Work with stateful firewalls and access controls as part of a reliable network.
Experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, F5, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fibre Channel SANs, VMware, and enterprise ticketing or collaboration tools is valuable. If you like following a network problem from the symptoms to the underlying cause, you’ll find that mindset useful here.
Experience and education
This role requires at least 10 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, or 15 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
