Build a better world—by keeping the line running
At CMC, every ton of steel we produce helps shape bridges, buildings, and roads around the globe. Your expertise ensures our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for what’s next.
Imagine this
A conveyor trips a VFD, alarms flash, and production slows. You lock out the system, trace the fault through an Allen‑Bradley PLC, verify motor health on an AC drive, swap a sensor bracket you just machined, and bring the line back up—safely, quickly, confidently. That’s your craft at work.
Your mission

- Calibrate, align, assemble, install, and test equipment to spec
- Use SAP PM to plan work, document time, track parts, and record corrective actions
- Fabricate or modify components using machine shop equipment and precision instruments
- Review and apply blueprints, drawings, and schematics to execute quality repairs
- Conserve resources by using parts and supplies efficiently; coordinate outside service when appropriate
- Offer data-backed reliability and safety recommendations
