Material Handler

At Pacur, our Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of materials (raw, in process, and finished) within the production floor and warehouse.

Shift: Material Handlers work a rotating 12-hour shift. 7:00AM to 7:00PM and 7:00PM to 7:00AM. The 28-day rotation results in approximately 14 work shifts per month.

What you will do:

• Safely drive a sit-down forklift in production and warehouse spaces

• Monitor material levels on the production lines - replenish as needed

• Promptly respond to calls from production line operators

• Remove finished product from the production lines and stage in correct warehouse locations

• Assist in adjusting roll position on pallets (roll tipping)

• Accurately complete transactions within the warehouse management system

• Measure and cut cores to be used on the production lines

• Provide back-up coverage for shipping and receiving team mates

• Safely operate stretch wrapper

• Assist in cycle counting

What are the education and skill requirements?

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and execute written instructions
• Prior experience driving a sit-down forklift in a production environment
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment

What are the physical requirements?

• Ability to sit on a forklift for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently get on/off the forklift
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds

You should be proficient in:

• Warehouse Experience
• Material Handler Experience
• Forklift Licensed
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Basic Computer Skills
