Controls and Robotics Maintenance Technologist

Own the uptime mission

Imagine a bottleneck you can feel across the floor: a PLC isn’t completing a handshake, a robot waits, and the conveyor stalls. You dive into the program, connect via secure VPN, verify tags and I/O, adjust the sequence, and within minutes the cell is humming. That’s your craft—solving problems at their source and reshaping equipment to run smarter tomorrow than it did today.

Mission-critical responsibilities

  • Interpret and refine PLC logic; ensure reliable equipment-to-equipment handshaking.
  • Access PLCs remotely via internet VPN for monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, multimeters, amp probes, and meggers.
  • Continuously improve equipment by evaluating capability and implementing modifications.
  • Support PLC-integrated robotics, including Panasonic and Motoman platforms.
  • Resolve line breakdowns across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domains.
  • Upgrade systems and replace obsolete parts with suitable modern equivalents.
  • Work with precision and speed while following company policies and safety standards.
  • Apply Arc Flash, LOTO, Confined Space, and Fall Protection practices without compromise.
  • Lead root-cause fixes that protect product quality and long-term reliability.
  • Provide and use your own tools to execute maintenance tasks.
  • Support operations with mandatory overtime when required; other duties may be assigned by the company.

What you’re skilled at

  • Maintenance and repair skills spanning electromechanical and controls systems.
