• Shifts: 1st or 3rd shift
• Additional 5.00 per hour shift differential applies only to 3rd shift

A day in this role

You arrive at the ArcoTech Plant ready to restore precision. Your day centers on core repair, setting up manual lathes, taking careful measurements with micrometers and gauges, and making clean MIG welds that bring parts back to life. When equipment acts up, you diagnose the issue quickly, put solutions in place, and keep production moving. Throughout the shift, you maintain rigorous safety and quality standards while handling hands-on, physically demanding work.

What you will do

• Set up and run manual machining operations to exact specifications
• Lead core repair work as your primary focus
• Use manual lathes, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments to verify work
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Follow established safety and quality procedures on every task
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks typical of shop-floor operations

What you bring

• Strong skill in manual machining and shop-floor troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with manual lathes and MIG welding equipment
• Proficiency with micrometers, gauges, and precision measurement tools
• Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to technical specifications
• Comfort working on your feet and performing physically intensive duties
